Good morning everybody!

I trust that you had a lovely weekend and Valentine's day? Were you spoiled on V day or was it just another day for you? Whatever your choice of day, that's fine; as long as we are able to celebrate LIFE!!! We are alive and that's so special. I must add that I received a huge tray of my favourite chocolates......Ferrero Rocher!!!

Anyway, to continue with my farm visit in the Free State.

I love the old sandstone buildings and trust that they will be preserved for many generations to come.

I think this old barn would make a gorgeous wedding venue.

thanks for stopping by. See you soon.

GUILTY!!!!!!!!!!..........

I am guilty, guilty, guilty......... of what you may ask????????

The answer..........

for neglecting my Blog!

Don't ask why, please. As you may know;  LIFE happens! Our lives can change in the wink of an  eye!

I have missed my Blog and thanks to my beautiful daughter, I am back on again. She has inspired and encouraged me to pick up the broken threads and make a start!! Thanks Ney!

Anyway, there is always something good and beautiful that we can look forward to during the storms of our lives.

I have met some beautiful and amazing people over the past year. Visited a farm in Excelsior in the Free State and even attended a few hunts there as well. I am not much of a hunter myself, but love attending the hunt and time spent in the bush, savouring our beautiful nature and wildlife.

I will still introduce you to the Lord and Lady of the Farm, Ceylon, but in the meanwhile, here's a peek at parts of their garden and old buildings.

This building has been turned into an old garage.

See the letterbox in the centre of the door! Just love it!

Well, that's all for today. Hope you are as happy as i am to be back on line. See you tomorrow. Take care and God bless!
